A Special Halloween "Thank You"

To anybody who manned the door and handed out candy for trick or treaters tonight, thank you. Too many windows were dark, too many doors unanswered, which made your presence all the more appreciated.

To those who did so in a costume or with a little flair, doubly thank you. You contributed to the Halloween Spirit and your smiles gave us warmth on a damp and chilly night.

And to those that decorated their porch/yard, played sound effects and really tried to make it spooky fun for the kids, I salute and commend you. You're the reason why Halloween is special and you're what those kids will remember when they're older - the front yard cemetery, the smiling witch that gave them candy, the stuffed scarecrow sitting on the porch. You're the reason I've always gone out of my way to make Halloween night special for my own children - I want them to have a taste of what I had as a kid, and inspire them to pay it forward to their kids.

So to all you suburban ghouls and goblins, ghosts and witches, Sinister Visions wishes you a spooky, magical and happy Halloween!
